It important for children to eat healthy food
Healthy eating means eating a wide variety of nutritious food from all the food groups. It is important for children to eat healthy food. These foods contain lots of vitamins and minerals. Eating a wide variety of foods groups will help you grow.
1- Food with lots of rich nutrients help with brain and motor development.
2- Healthy habits at a young age lead to healthy habits later.
3-Healthy prevent long term diseases etc. Also helps prevent oral health problems like cavities and gum disease.
So the children must eat healthy food like fruit, vegetable, bread grains such as rice, ,pasta, beans, lean meat, chicken without skin, fish, cheese, milk, yogurt because they give energy and the children can grow well. We shouldn't allow for children to eat junk food or fast food like sweet biscuits, chocolate, chips, ice cream, burger, lollies, cake muffin because these foods don not have many vitamins, minerals or fibre. Eating these foods not necessary and these are extra. Also they contains lots of sugary and fat or both.
So eating too much fast food or junk food can cause obesity and immunity. If children eat these kind of food. They become overweight or obese and they will have many health problem from their young age. Also eating fast food or junk food can increase risk of heart disease, cholesterol, blood pressure and stroke. We can say it is important for children to eat healthy food and grow well.
